Four Level 3 qualifications for people who run the parts of an organisation that are not technical: the administration, the people, and the teaching and assessing of everybody else. All are assessed by a portfolio of evidence built from real work rather than by examination.

The school currently holds NCFE approval for 5 qualifications in this subject, at Level 3. 4 are open for enrolment now, from £399 to £995. 3 of them can be completed entirely at your own pace. All of them are studied online from anywhere in the UK, and every one is awarded by NCFE and regulated by Ofqual.

Which of these is the one you want

The Diploma for Business Administrators is the broadest: the work of keeping an organisation running, from records and correspondence to projects and stakeholders.

Skills for Business: Human Resources is for people already doing HR work, often without the title, who need the underpinning knowledge written down and recognised.

Supporting Teaching and Learning is for working in a school alongside a teacher. The Award in Education and Training is the other way round: it is the first qualification for teaching adults, and it is where most people who end up teaching in further education start.

Assessed by portfolio, which suits people already in the work

None of these is examined. You build evidence against the assessment criteria, it is marked here and quality assured externally by NCFE, and the evidence usually comes from work you are doing anyway.

That is the practical reason these suit people in a job. There is no exam date to book time off for, no timetable, and no term to wait for. The qualifications are studied online and at your own pace.
