NCFE Level 3 Certificate in User Experience/User Interface (UX/UI)
Design digital products people love: user research, UX design and UI design, taught through a practical portfolio.
Duration: 180 guided learning hours; self-paced online study
Course overview
This Level 3 qualification develops the knowledge and skills used by UX and UI professionals. Across six mandatory units, learners cover an introduction to user experience, the user-centred design process, user research, UX design, UI design, and a final unit putting UX/UI design into practice.
Learners build a real design portfolio as they study: researching users, mapping journeys, wireframing, prototyping and designing interfaces, skills in demand across web, mobile and product teams. Delivery is 100% online with tutor support.
Assessment is through an internally assessed, externally quality assured portfolio of evidence, with no exams. The qualification supports progression into junior UX/UI roles and further study in design and digital.
