20.1 Purpose and Scope
This policy ensures that all marketing and promotional materials relating to NCFE qualifications offered by the Data and AI School of London are accurate, honest, compliant with NCFE's Brand Guidelines, and consistent with consumer protection law. All marketing activity is conducted digitally through the school's website, social media, email campaigns, and paid digital advertising.
20.2 Accuracy and Transparency Requirements
All marketing and advertising materials must:
Accurately describe the qualification by its full NCFE title and qualification number on the RQF
Clearly state that the qualification is delivered entirely online
Accurately describe any entry requirements (prior qualifications, age restrictions, English language proficiency)
State the minimum technical requirements for online study
Not make misleading claims about outcomes, career prospects, or difficulty of the qualification
Include the NCFE approval mark only in accordance with NCFE's Brand Guidelines
20.3 NCFE Brand Guidelines
The school uses NCFE's qualification titles, logos, and approval marks in strict accordance with NCFE's published Brand Guidelines. Any new use of NCFE branding on a new platform or document must be reviewed against these guidelines before publication.
20.4 Review and Approval Process
1. Check the accuracy of all qualification descriptions against the current NCFE Qualification Specification.
2. Verify compliance with NCFE Brand Guidelines.
3. Obtain approval from the Head of Centre before publication.
Any marketing material found to be inaccurate or misleading must be corrected or removed within 2 working days of the error being identified.
20.5 Consumer Protection
The school complies with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in its online sales and enrolment processes. Prospective learners are provided with clear pre-contract information including fees, withdrawal rights, and cancellation periods before committing to enrolment.
